2026-02-12: NEW Backfill (experimental) lets the warband fill quickly first, then as players who match missing role/rank needs join, AutoBand removes the newest players who do not match so the WB gradually shifts into your target setup; NEW Form WB button for faster setup; NEW alt-spec option to exclude RP/Zealot from alt-spec remapping (default ON).

2026-01-10: AutoBand now disables autokick toggles when you’re promoted to WB leader in an existing warband to prevent surprise kicks (you can re‑enable them manually). Party notes: AutoBand more reliably detects and clears its own /partynote when auto‑partynote is turned off, and avoids stale notes. Various internal optimizations.

2025-12-27: Cleaned up /partynote so we dont use icons in there, could break if the line was too long. Added more often updating the partynote even if in combat.

2025-12-21: Changed the wording of the /partynote when not enforcing rolecounts.

2025-12-19: Automatic /partynote updates with caps/rank/needs. Auto‑form warband before manual searching for roles if needed. Role notifications are now prettied up. Internal optimizations.

2025-09-19: Fixed ad message bugs. /ab org now prioritizes placing the WB leader in G1 and better handling of distant players when using /ab org distance.

2025-09-11: Was obviously in a bit of a hurry with last release. This one is better with non 8-8-8 grps, when it comes to auto-organization.

2025-09-10: Bugfixed/improved the auto-organization feature - new safeguards now respect per‑group role caps without starving other roles. Also made changes to try to spread careers out if duplicate within a role.

2025-09-02: Added some zonename-sanitization for outputs, and a debug flag to the /ab org command for debugging purposes.

2025-08-09: A bug when having "Guild priority" enabled broke the whole addon (if you enabled 8-8-8 mode at the same time). This is now fixed.

2025-07-01 - Added an option to automatically kick players from your warband who are on your ignore list. The warband role composition (e.g., 8-8-8) can now be changed directly in the Templates tab GUI. You can also now permanently set a player's custom role by right-clicking their name and selecting it from the menu This update also includes several smaller UI improvements and bug fixes.

2025-05-29 - Auto-organization has been refined for potentially better group setups. You can now also organize your warband prioritizing players closest to the warbandleader using /ab org distance or the button added to the GUI. Players closer to the wblead will be considered first for core group composition. Internal performance improvements have also been done. Outgoing messages generated when searching for roles have received minor tweaks for clarity. The default behavior for some settings has been updated.

2025-05-16: Added the command /ab listaltspecs to make it easy to see who in the warband that has a role thats not the "default" for that career. Also lists why AutoBand think it has switched to that role (could be via the alt-spec-check, or via the /ab customerole command). Enriched the search messages for roles when running a race restricted warband. Also some other internal changes.

2025-05-12: Enhanced too-far-from-leader kick: distance is now configurable (default 150 units). Presets: default 150, long 300, far 450, max 600. Change it with: /ab settoofardistance default|long|far|max

Changed so the eventual guild prefix is only used in searches. The command is /ab prefixguild

2025-05-03: Added ability to change the prefix to the users guildname (with linkage).
